Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge ships with 120W charging and 108MP camera

Support for 120W fast charging is often a feature on high-end devices like the Xiaomi 12 Pro . However, the Chinese company is starting to bring the resource to intermediaries, such as the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, presented this Thursday (6).

The mobile is a renamed version of Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus which was launched in the Chinese market during the month of October. According to information released by Xiaomi itself, it takes only 15 minutes at the socket to complete the 4,500 mAh battery charge — the 120 W charger comes with the product in the box, so it is not necessary to purchase the accessory separately.

Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge's other specs also include MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor, with versions ranging from 6 to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM (with an additional 3 GB of virtual RAM when available), and 128 to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, and possibility of expansion via micro SD card.

On the front, the device's AMOLED screen is 6.67 inches, in addition to Full HD resolution (2,400 x 1080 pixels), 120 Hz refresh rate and 360 Hz sampling rate, in addition to 1,200 nits of maximum brightness. The rear camera suite is led by a 108 MP Samsung HM2 sensor, which appears alongside an 8 MP ultrawide and 2 MP macro sensor — the selfie camera is housed inside a hole centered on the display, and has 16 MP.

The Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge still has a glass construction, with IP53 resistance to dust and splash water. The fingerprint sensor is on the side, and the device also offers two speakers for stereo sound, 3.5 mm port for headphones and infrared emitter to control the television, air conditioning or other products without the need to connect to the Internet.

The Chinese brand also introduced the Xiaomi 11i (without the "HyperCharge") at the same occasion. It is the renamed Redmi Note 11 Pro (without the "Plus"), and therefore it has all the same specs as HyperCharge, except for the battery aspect. With a 5,160 mAh tank, it appears as an option for those who want a longer period of use before needing a recharge, but on the other hand charging is limited to 67 W — even faster than most of the intermediates available on the market .

Prices and availability

The devices were introduced for the Indian market, and can be purchased there from January 12th. There is still no concrete information regarding the deadlines for making the devices available in Brazil, but it is likely that they will arrive in a few months with the original Redmi Note 11 Pro/Pro Plus nomenclature.
